  RPG Project environment (Lowpoly) 3D Model 2026-07-15
A scene I'm making to practice my props and environments modelling/texturing. Setting this scene and props up in Unity. Still WIP, I got all the pieces but I want to make it a level. Started and done within 8 days. All the models and textures were done in 3DCoat 4.9 and Blender. Then imported to Unity. The Skuldelev ships are a group of five well preserved 11th century ships from the Viking period, found in the Roskilde Fjord in Denmark near the town of Skuldelev. Skuldelev 1 was a large ocean going ship, a trading vessel probably known as a Knarr. From analyzing the wood of the ship archaeologists were able to determine the ship had been built on the west coast of Norway around the 1030ā€™s CE, and so ended itā€™s life far from where it was built. At some point in its life it had suffered massive damage which left it with a warped keel, and which necessitated significant reconstruction of the hull. This digital recreation is based on the ā€˜Ottarā€™, a full scale reconstruction made by the Roskilde Viking Ship Museum. The provision of a tent over the hold is hypothetical.
