The T1 tower is an office skyscraper located in the municipality of Courbevoie (in the district of La Défense, west of Paris.
The construction of this tower began in 2005 and ended in 2008.
With a height of 185 meters, it is in 2016 the sixth tallest building in France, after the First (231 m), Montparnasse (210 m), Incity (202 m), Majunga (195 m), and Total (190 m).
Designed by the firm of architects Valode and Pistre, it has the shape of a sheet folded in two, resembling a sail inflated by the wind. The south façade of the tower is strictly vertical (towards La Défense), while on the north side the façade descends gradually towards Courbevoie thus ensuring a transition with the lower town.

I started this as a fun little side project that I would work on when taking a break from my primary piece. For this project I wanted to try something new and different. My goal was to get more comfortable making strange shapes in Zbrush and also to become better at hand painting textures. Primarily painting in the shadow, lighting, reflections/ highlights and bounce lighting into the diffuse map. An attempt at creating a small environment for the Dagger of Time from the Prince of Persia: Sands of Time trilogy.
My influences were kinda all over the place. The altar and sand pile were ideas inspired by the Sands of Time Remake. The dagger combines elements from the Edge of Time from Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey with elements from the original Sands of Time design. And then I threw a couple of my own ideas in to create this weird amalgamation that I hope Prince of Persia fans will at least find serviceable, lol.
