I’ve been working on this project since mid January now and it’s finally finished! Everything is modelled in Blender and the textures are painted in Photoshop. Diffuse and Alpha maps only.
I thought I would create a scene with a small story behind it.
The mysterious tiny wizard was experimenting with his rare mandrake Root and home grown crystals. He found an old recepice on how to create a special magic potion with the ancient root. By trying it out, he mixes the wrong ingredients together, which turns out to be a magic spell for opening portals. Herre i have the final piece for my big second year project for uni. This is only half way though because with the modular kit that was made by making this i can make more of the buildings from Diagon Alley
Overall though this is about 24 hours in the making using
- Maya for most of the building modeling, retopo and Uving
- Zbrush for the creation of the high poly version of the character
- Substance painter/designer for all of the textrues that are on this
