Made this piece based on concept art called 部落 Mönkhtsetseg by Crispy Mushrooms! This was done over the course of 9 weeks during the CGMA course: Stylized Character Arts for Games with instructor Weston Reid! The character blockout and sculpt were done in ZBrush, retopology in Blender and CozyBlanket, baking in Marmoset Toolbag 4, texturing in Substance Painter and 3DCoat, and finally rigged and animated back in Blender! The class was challenging, but I had a lot of fun and learned a lot! I'm super excited to apply what I've learned in future pieces! This is my first human character in a realisitc style I made for a school exam. We had to make a character from a celebrity, I choose my favorite actor Mads Mikkelsen and decided to turn him into a gentleman thief a bit like Arsene Lupin.
I used zbrush for the high poly sculpt and the low poly
3D coat and maya for the Uv’s, skinning and export setup
Substance painter for the texturing
I also integreted my character into a UE4 scene
It was super great to make and I learn a lot from it, even if I’m not really satisfied since the concept is kind of simple, I wasn’t to confident for making a complexe character because I’m still a beginer, but with all the things I learned the next one will be much better.
This version has no pose and no hat and mask for a better view of the details of the face.

Hi everyone,
This is my grad work for XYZ school course.
As big fan of Cowboy Bebop I decided to make a Swordfish.
I used Maya for modeling and animation, Mamoset for baking AO and normals, fixed some in Photoshop and paint in Substance Painter.
The model has four 4k sets with texel 8 pxcm. I chose metal
oughness pipeline and got transperency map for forth set.
44.5 k - tris, 24 - verts
I add some details to the texture that appeared during the anime plot.
