This ship was created as a submission for a space-themed competition created on a Discord server called: Fly Forge. The model took me 4 days to complete, the textures are pretty basic as I am still learning how to make good textures in Blender. The ship itself is based on the ship from IXION and the Loss Nauvod from The Expanse, with some extra bits being based on Kerbal Space Program modder; Nertea. The second version of her that i built. This model represents the K-7 Space Station as seen on the Deep Space Nine episode “Trials, and Tribbleations”. Where FX Artist Greg Jien built an accurate to the original, but slightly more detailed version of the classic K-7 studio model. I wanted to replicate that version of the studio model as close as possible. Within a “reasonable” RTS gaming poly budget.
She also has the same sign in her hangar bay as the studio model that says “WELCOME TO K-7. NOW GO HOME!” In the other closed hangar bay there is a sign that reads “Romulan Ale Sold Here!”
