This project was funded by a fiverr customer. Description before creation: “A stylised backpack with military/camping application, similar to fortnite style, open concept”. The Katana Golf Backpack object came with concept art of a similar katana stabbing through a bag. The aim of this bag was to pad out the brightly coloured objects in the game with some duller colours, I think it did that well, however after working on a large number of objects to re-create the fortnite style, I didn’t use any techniques that I found (such as duplicating the AO layer to give a hash shadow on the base colour texture) as this was made earlier on in production when I was trying to find my feet with the style.
