An example of a PDA-type unit used by, in this case, a worker repairing and investigating a damaged section of a city on Ganymede after Terran orbital bombardment. These PDAs are ultimately controled by the central unit, which houses the basic authentication module, a small battery, a reasonably powerful processing unit, and a few displays (most of which can be swapped). It has 3 expansion ports. In this example, the bottom port is taken up by an user-interface module, featuring a variant of a chording keyboard, as well as a joystick. The top port is taken up a screen, which also contains addtional RAM modules and a bigger battery. The side port is connected to a stiff ribon cable which is connected to a radiation meter, which is important, as the nuclear bombardment of Ganymede left a large number of sections of the cities dangerously irratiated. Modelled in Blender and textured in Substance, no detail went overlooked in the creation of this shoe. As a result it is subdivision ready. Unwrapped with efficiency in mind both left and right shoes are mostly identical, save for logos and text that cannot be mirrored. This was done to save on having 8 texture sets instead of 4, most of the unwrapped mesh of one shoe overlaps with the other.
