Madthing ( High/Low/Uvs/Bake ) was made by the talented artist Coralie Bruchon ( https://www.artstation.com/artist/longsharp ). Anthony Daneluzzi made his weapon from A to Z, and I did the PBR textures/Rig/Posing mostly with 3DCoat/Akeytsu. I used 3DCoat for mostly everything except stencils/Brushes creation ( PS ) with custom smartmaterials ( same used on SWR project =) ) Special thanks to Coralie Bruchon, Adrien Chenet, Alexandre Cheremetieff, Maxime Teppe, Anthony Daneluzzi, for your feedbacks ( especially about skin tones ;) ), it helped me so much ! Introducing Ryoko Shimada, the Red Dragon of Talon!
This was a project I’ve been working on for the past few months with Isabel Garcia, otherwise known as Osidinum.
We brainstormed back and forth for a few months and she came up with an awesome design for me to translate into 3D!
Exiled by the Shimada clan as a child, Ryoko lead a life of violence. Talon recognized her combat potential during the omnic crisis and manipulated her into becoming a soldier. She seeks revenge on her former clan as well as her brothers, who are unaware she is even alive.Armed with her dual chakrams, Ryoko uses these weapons to slice into enemies at short and close range, as well as to harness the power of her dragons. The FBX is made to be used in realtime game engines and uses custom vertices normals (MIKK Tangent space)
Maps consists in 1 2K UVset, and uses combined map channels to reduce drawcalls (better performances)
