The concept is, this barrel would have the power of a volcano and be highly unstable. Very rare and found only in the Devils Roar area of the map. The Barrel upon exploding would release a super-powerful volcanic blast which would not only send volcanic rock into the air at long distance but would also turn the water in the surrounding area super hot. Any ships within short distance would be damaged beyond repair and all avatars killed. This barrel is equivalent to a nuke in Sea of Thieves.

When used in battle, only a few barrels would be transported to the gun batteries, and gunpowder would be transported to the guns in leather buckets, all for safety reasons, see volume 1 of the “Mémoires d’artillerie” by Surirey de Saint Remy (BnF).
