This model was quite a challenge. Initially I made a texture baked version but when importing to sketchfab, didn’t quite work out the way I wanted. So I’m currently just uploading a plain version.
I thought of this concept a long time ago, finally with modeling help from my colleague Thuy I was finally able to do this project. She is a rockstar.
I present the “Authentic Japanese Style room (Washitsu) - Learn Japanese version”.
For the people who are trying to learn Japanese, this model might be of some help. Perhaps I’ll do more of these in the future.

Fan art of a house I saw in a SuperCell game “Boom Beach Frontlines”.
I did high/mid/low poly models for this project. The high-poly (153,777 tris) for the bake of course, the mid-poly (38,995 tris) for sketchfab and the low poly (5.8 03 tris) as a game asset. The low-poly could be lower but I preferred to keep some details.
I implemented the low poly in Unity, adding some animations and particles.
