Little training. Model done from scratch in 4 days. Remembering my days as a figurine painter. I wanted to recreate a dwarf from the old Warhammer Fantasy figures, mixing it with a stylized style. I think the result fits what I had in mind. No 2D references. Made with Blender & Substance painter. Ready for Unity and unreal. 8012 tris. I’ve always been a massive fan of Warhammer 40K. Starting out with a Necron army in 2005. I’ve been wanting to do a piece like this for a while and have had a lot of fun in bringing the Kommando to life.
