The AN/ALQ-184 is a self-defense electronic countermeasures pod used on USAF tactical aircraft. It operates in both receive and transmit modes to selectively direct high power jamming against multiple emitters. This system is very reliable detecting potential threats. The ALQ-184 is available in two-(Mid and High band) and three-band (Mid, High and Low band) configurations. It was designed as the replacement for the AN/ALQ-119 and AN/ALQ-131 electronic warfare pods. This model represents the version of two bands.
