Lion-Statue-043M-花蓮-碧蓮寺 阿形 豐田神社大正四年（1915）鎮座，屬無格社，為豐田移民村的日人在臺灣安身立命的信仰倚靠。戰後神社被改建為碧莲寺，目前尚存鳥居、狛犬及石燈籠等遺跡。此對狛犬位於寺前，身驅刻有渦漩紋，台座處有「野口佐次郎 小松口太郎奉納 昭和二年十月二十五日」款。在造型上，匠師順著芯棒塑形，自後腦勺沿著背脊塑出一道優美的弧線，前端以筆直細長的前肢作為支應，未端則以豎立的尾鬃平衡了頭重腳輕的情況，在單純精簡中透出形的美感。如後肢不多作骨路肌肉的描寫，與服貼的鬃毛同匯融於渾暢簡潔的軀體；而前肢肘部僅以一横線劃分，即巧妙地打破視覺的單調冗長，卻又不至擾亂整體的協調，誠為一簡中寓繁的難得逸品。 節自《臺灣石獅圖錄》陳磅礴著 Lion-statue-043M Polys: 29971 Verts: 14988 Lion-statue-043M 3D Model. 岡山壽天宮（福德祠）阿形
日本愛知縣岡崎市自古以來即以石雕聞名。其中明治、大正年間，岡崎石工店家「酒孫兵衛」製作的狛犬式樣，經同行間不斷地流傳與再創造，進而融匯成晚近日本狛犬最普遍的風貌式樣，而有「岡崎型」分類的說法。
此對狛犬位於岡山壽天宮後方福德祠，為民國七十六年改建時購自花蓮，根據老照片比對，應為原址在今花蓮美崙山忠烈祠、於大正五年 (1916）鎮座的花蓮港神社舊物。其中阿形狛犬足踏繡球，吽形狛犬足搭子犬，圓額闊口，體態渾暢洗練，豎立的尾鬃亦一波三折、飄逸扭動，體現出「岡崎型」狛犬的造型特色。
