Hey there! This is an old model I decided to finish, i hope you’ll like it. The idea was to make an knight of the Hippotamus order, yes ! i worked with Maya and Zbrush for modeling and rigging. The textures were created with Substance painter. This model was originaly created for CG rendering, explaining the high polycount number.
Original design was done by my girlfriend Kodomo thanks to her ! She’s doing awesome artworks so check out her artstation page ! you can see the drawing below (Maybe one day i’ll finish the horse :D) :

These river plants depict the marshes in which the animal lived, but at the same time their flowers also symbolize regeneration and rebirth as they close every night and open again in the morning…The hippo’s modern nickname first appeared in 1931 in a story that was published in the British humor magazine Punch. It reports about a family that consults a color print of the Met’s hippo—which it calls “William”—as an oracle.
