This was my summer project before starting second year at DMU Game Art, although due to some module mix up, I spent about 3 weeks revisiting it on and off. The brief was to make a 10m x 10m realistic-style castaway island, using substance painter to texture. I originally planned to do a pirate-themed island and made extra props, but realised that they just didn't work at all with the scene. Instead I've kept it very basic and natural. Fun stylized challenge. Low poly modeling with 3ds max and textured with substance painter. The idea is an island surrouned by an atoll with magical statues that act as wards… or whatever you want to think :D.
Free to download for anyone that wants to check it out. Primarily used AO and cavity maps to help give shading and hightlights. Most of the textures are 2048x2 and I tried to stay away from any small letter or symbols to reduce any resolution issues.
