Whoa, it's been a really long time since I've posted anything here. So I thought I'd post a little personal fan art project here again. This time it's of the five swords that Link acquires in Majora's Mask. I tried to keep them similar to official art where possible, but also using the in game models as reference too. It's interesting how different the Razor Sword art is compared to the model. This is my final assignment for my Stylized minor at DAE Howest. For this assignment we had to make a game and/or animation ready model based on a chosen concpet. I chose the original Lizalfos design for the Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword by Nintendo.
The pipeline involved sculpting and polypainting in ZBrush, manually retopo in 3dsmax, bake and add materials in Substance and finally run again through ZBrush for posing.
