Sci fi gun concepted by me. I’ve always loved the shape design of a p90 so I wanted to create a sci-fi looking gun using the same shape language. My little sister also love unicorns so when she saw I was stumped on my design she gave the idea of unicorn gun. I decided to run with the idea so I started concepting in maya using booleans. A victorian era fruit plate from my victorian still life.
It was done in Blender, Substance Designer, Substance Painter and 3D Coat.
To create the engravings on the plate, I modeled and rendered the shapes in Blender as a height map and used them as a brush in sculpt mode with radial symmetry in Blender and as an alpha with radial symmetry in Substance Painter.
