The goal of this project was to recreate Johnny, matching the art style of the original game and capturing the likeness of Keanu. My inspiration behind making this project was being a big fan of Johnny (and also of Keanu) and wanting to make a character that would really push my abilities in the creation of skin, hair, clothing and hard surface. Made as part of my final major project for my degree in computer games art. Hi everyone, this is my take on the adorable Ganyu when she was a child. Hope I did not miss the hype after Xian Yun’s character trailer. For those who doesn’t know why she was holding a windmill, here’s a summary. Both Xian Yun and Ganyu was walking pass a windmill store and our little Ganyu took interest of windmill displayed at the shop. Being young and mature as she was, she does not want to trouble Xian Yun. Xian Yun noticed and built a windmill toy for Ganyu. The wind is a bit strong though, it blew Ganyu’s hoodie back. Despite all that, our little Ganyu was delighted playing with her new toy.
