Last summer I went to Universal Studios in Orlando with my best friend. It was great fun—the Harry Potter stuff was super cool and I managed to win a Simpsons-themed cat hat in one of the carnival games (that’s a 3D model for another time). Since all Minions-related movies are (no-longer-secretly) some of my favorites, I couldn’t leave without this guy. He and his teddy bear keep me company on my desk as I work. :D

Cross-polarization method is used to get rid of specular lights. The object is also scanned from below to capture it from every side. Afterwards the scan is optimized with retopology work and uv-unwrapping to make it gameready.
