This is a quick creature project that I made a few years back. The concept sculpt was created in a little under six hours. Once I had a good blocked out concept, I refined the detail sculpt, retopologized the mesh Uv'd and textured it. The surfacing for this guy was originally done with Vray in mind, but with a little clean up, it was pretty easy to transfer over to Sketchfab's PBR material. I had to down res the maps significantly to get them to load however, and the Emission of the material seems to blur out the surface quite a bit. The colors for this guy were inspired by a close cousin of the Seahorse known as the “Weedy Sea Dragon " while the overall patternings and designs are very geomtric in nature 3D Model is ready to download for free

Euromus (Greek: Εὔρωμος) – also, Eunomus and Eunomos; earlier Kyromus and Hyromus – was an ancient city in Caria, Anatolia; the ruins are approximately 4 km southeast of Selimiye and 12 km northwest of Milas (the ancient Mylasa), Muğla Province, Turkey. Probably dating from the 6th century BC, Euromus was a member of the Chrysaorian League during Seleucid times. Euromus also minted its own coins from the 2nd century BC to the 2nd century AD.
The ruins contain numerous interesting buildings, the most outstanding of which is the temple of Zeus Lepsinos from the reign of Emperor Hadrian. Archaeologists have found terra cotta shards indicating that the temple site had its origins back at least to the 6th century BC. The temple is one of the best preserved classical temples in Turkey: sixteen columns remain standing and most of the columns are inscribed in honour of the citizen who commissioned their construction. This was a model I made once years ago, then revamped. The intended use of the model was for a funny, charismatic game about aliens. I altered giganotosaurus form to make it a little more personable (longer arms, bigger eyse, etc) while still having believable dinosaur anatomy.
