To do this scene I inspired myself with a large variety of concepts and frames from movies to be accurate in some way with the books, but I also wanted to do it my way, that’s the reason why the tecnology, the sandworm and the fremen are different from the usual.
I made this project using Zbrush to do the sandworm and the fremen, and then I used Maya to do the retopology and the rest of the scene. Finally I used Substance Painter to create the materials.

3d model I’ve been working on during my free time over a few months. The model is a vehicle from the adeptus mecanicus faction from W40k, I’ve been collecting these figurines for a while so I decided to try and make one myself. this time I decided to bake normal in substance painter to make the model more game ready. The Glowglobe is a replica of one of my favourite movie props. These floating lamps produce an incredible mood for some of the most critical scenes in the movie. With limited close ups, it was hard to see some of the finer details— I’d love to know what the original designers think!
