Hawk Industries’ Type 97 shotguns are Chinese copies of the Remington 870. The Type 97-2 is an anti-riot shotgun that feeds from a 5 round detachable magazine and has a side folding stock. It can fire a variety of 18.4mm shotgun shells such as buckshots, tear gas and rubber slugs. It’s currently in use by the Chinese People’s Armed Police.
