This is an old model from circa 2000ish I made for racing games of that era (PS2). I was curious to see how something I made 20 years ago would hold up in the Sketchfab renderer. I am pretty pleased with the results overall. This model was made before i knew a lot of tricks in modelling, such as using billboards to do details like badges. There was no normal mapping back then either… I had always loved this car, I still do. This project almost makes me want to remake this model a bit more hirez. Please see the readme if smoothing the base version of the model, as there are a few nodes (named in the readme) that do not really need smoothing. They weren’t really built for smoothing and will yield odd results without some added edgeloops). The interior is mostly detailed for exterior renders and not meant for close ups just so you know.
The Maya 2020.4 file is set up to render with the Arnold Renderer plugin. All you will need to do is supply your own HDR image for the envLight.
