I’m really aggrivated that the texture seams are so obvious and jarring, I assume that has to do with sketchfab downsampling the original, maybe? I’m not going to redo the UV’s. A filled waffle 9.4 x 5.0 x 1.0 cm The highly optimized, photorealistic model was created using custom photogrammetry techniques. This involves capturing hundreds of pictures from many angles and under different lighting conditions. The resulting data is then processed with manual and automated pipelines, by leveraging RawTherapee, Metashape, Blender and self-developed software. The attached ZIP archive includes the low-poly OBJ mesh, a Blender file and a set of JPEG textures at 4k resolution. This is a model of a thermometer taken on 10 August 2021. It was 26 degrees when we photoscanned this office thermometer. This is a comparison between three kinds of thermometers that we made. With the use of Photoshop masks, we were able to get a fantastic result. There were a few small detail losses in the metal and glass parts of the thermometer. We remodeled the missing parts in Blender. With the model being in Blender, we baked all sorts of PBR textures. We baked the diffuse, AO, roughness, glossiness, opacity, and normal maps. The remodeled thermometer was sent back to Agisoft for retexturing. Windmill from the village of Bogdanka near Juchnowiec (Podlasie) from 1945 translocated to the open-air museum of the Podlasie folk-cultural museum located in Wasilkow. The object is a 27-hectare area, on which more than 30 wooden objects were located. Windmill type: wood dutch. It is one of three objects that we have scanned together with Monika Urbańczyk at the Museum of Folk Culture. This is also my first approach to scan an object of this size.
