Call it nostalgia, but I’ve always loved the look of the turtles from the original 1990 film. It blew me away that they took these relatively simple drawings, and brought to life these really realistic humanoid turtles. I remember losing my mind when I first saw them. When I started working on this by chance, there were these new turtle figures out that had captured quite a bit of the detail from the movie costumes so I used those as reference heavily. I built this model with high end game cinematics in mind, base model was around 83k before smoothed. He will eventually have a full working facial rig with mouth cavity....just getting lazy here towards the end on him..haha. The skin I ended up using one of the default new orc skin templates in painter and messed around with the layers in that with some of my own custom additions and I think it turned out fairly nice. A large half destroyed war machine only barely clinging onto a street lamp for balance. Battered and barely repaired it slowly patrols the streets.
So this one took me way too long. I had the original Idea for it back in November and started working on it then, but then my bachelor’s thesis paper got in the way and I had to put it aside. It was originally going to be a realistic highpoly model, but my PC couldn’t handle it, I tried the last weeks to fix it in some way, but seeing how my software student-licences are probably gone soon I took the lowpoly and made it very stylised. I do like how it turned out.

My rendetion of the Juggernaut 5 from Mandalorian TV show, named as Juggernaut 5.1. There are some slight differencies against the tv show.

Juggernaut 5 was only vehicle which survived the pirate raid and successfully delivered the fuel into fuel refinery. Unfortunatelly the vehicle was destroyed later when Din Djarin and Mayfeld escaped the refinery by shot into uncovered tank.
The vehicle itself is bassed on HAVw A6 Juggernaut know more as clone turbo tank. This version consist only from one big hull, but HCVw A9.2 juggernaut consists from 5 sections connected by hinges. Our basic set came with a light plastic arch which ended up to be pushed away all the time. Later I found out that ikea used to make the bridge in one solid wooden part.
I decided to design and print a similar base that would click under the curved rail. It has raised rails on the top on which the wooden trails sit. Edges are curved by 1 mm. You can either stick the parts together or keep them separate.
