I鈥檝e been working on a game with my team (Cotton Cloud Productions) called The Chopping Block. It is a horror theme and we wanted to have some distinctive rooms within the level, I thought a creepy painting would help add to the spookiness of the game (especially since it will disappear and reappear in another room with creepy laughter). I created the model, UV’s, and texture art. This is one of my favorite pieces I’ve done so far. October Sculpting Challenge 2022

Decided to attempt a more detailed sculpt for this month, particularly focusing on wrinkles and organic detailing. Originally was planning on practicing simple hard surface techniques by creating a deer’s skull, but decided to take it further and create the famous Native American cryptid, the Wendigo.

So this was a cool project to work on, I like sculpting weird artsy stuff and I’ve been trying to learn Speedtree and trees are pretty boring to look at for hours at a time while you’re trying to figure out what all the buttons and sliders do. I also had to learn a whole new workflow for this but it is what it is.
The concept was heavily inspired by ‘The Last Of Us’ in the beginning, I also wanted the body to be similar to my ‘Corpse Flower’ model since theyre both in a larger project together.
Initially while I was figuring out Speedtree this model had blue leaves so I was going for that Willow tree vibe but it wasnt looking right. Then I got inspired by the art in ‘Diablo 4’ and scrapped the leaves and added more tiny branches and that kinda brought the whole Blood Tree thing together 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 197388 polygons.

I’ve been trying to practice modeling different things lately, and then converting them into puppetable avatars for VRC. This is one of the several I have done recently.
This one was far too much fun to do. I don’t know why the world needed a bar of soap with a bite taken out of it, or a carefully modeled butt, I just know that it had to be done. Mr Soap here has seen some things, and I don’t know that he appreciates it.
