I stumbled across an amazing concept of this bugbear by Jaemin Kim and thought it’d be the perfect opportunity to make a full character from a concept. I started by sculpting the whole body in ZBrush and then retopologized using the Zsphere tool. I then went on to unwrap him in 3ds Max, texture him in Substance Painter, finally using Maya to rig and do the simple breathing animation.

The final design is based on pre-computer CIA burn bags, where agents would dispose of classified documents. To destroy the drive, a strike-anywhere corner can be struck on most rough surfaces.
