Gliding animation for a nice lightweight rhamphorhyncus model, a Jurassic pterosaur that ate fish, squid, etc. Gave it a gannet-inspired colorscheme in Substance Painter.
The gliding animation is the only one that comes with this model. The skeleton is very basic, and may require new skinning or rigging to try to do any more ambitious movements- I modeled it in flight, I don’t know if the geometry will support it landing and walking without some bad clipping. Here is my project for the 6 props assignment in SGD 214. For this project I chose a to do a medieval fantasy study room theme. The props I chose are a candlestand, globe, scale, candle holder, locked book, and a hourglass. My inspiration for these props came from an old intrest in strange tabletop items like globes, hourglasses, and scales. I remember as a kid staring at maps and fiddling with hourglasses watching the sand dribble down to each side.
