Hi! This was my submission to the May/June monthly environment and prop art challenge found here. There were several images to choose from, but I chose this hand painted book from the provided list. The back of the model wasn't provided, so I had to whip up something to go back there. Hope you like it! This is my first human character in a realisitc style I made for a school exam. We had to make a character from a celebrity, I choose my favorite actor Mads Mikkelsen and decided to turn him into a gentleman thief a bit like Arsene Lupin.
I used zbrush for the high poly sculpt and the low poly
3D coat and maya for the Uv’s, skinning and export setup
Substance painter for the texturing
I also integreted my character into a UE4 scene
It was super great to make and I learn a lot from it, even if I’m not really satisfied since the concept is kind of simple, I wasn’t to confident for making a complexe character because I’m still a beginer, but with all the things I learned the next one will be much better.
This version has no pose and no hat and mask for a better view of the details of the face.
