This scene was made for the end assignment of 3D1 in DAE Howest. The seaside theme was chosen and shows part of a tropical resort, there is a house up for hire where people can stay during their visit. Surfboards and jetski are also available, information is found within the smaller blue building next to the boardsrack. Ther is of course a beach volleyball net that is available to guests free of charge. This is the final version of my first 3D assignment for Howest DAE.
I had a lot of fun working on it, especially the texturing, as we were now allowed to use anything like substance painter, marmoset etc. Everything had to either be done in photoshop or maya and we could pretty much only use an albedo and some transparency. It was a challange to get the textures looking good without any roughness or normals, but I think I learned a lot from it.
