This piece was a texture/poly count optimization study, and was inspired by the computers in DOOM 2016. I just wanted to see how much detail was achievable with textures alone. I ended up with an extremely low poly model that I am really happy with! This is an animation demo of my new low poly computer model. It was very fun to do !
At first I had some issues with the screen changing (interpolation between frames) but I found a trick: place the second screen on the first one, one frame before it disappear.
This trick didn’t unfortunately worked on the grid floor (you can see the interpolation in the middle of the animation).
