The goal of this model was to practice using marmoset and quixel to make an asset similiar to one existing in a game to test my abilities, i chose to model the drilldozer (doretta) from Deep Rock Galactic. The game has a low-poly aesthetic and i wanted to try to make a more photoreal version and had to make some adjustments to the design to fit the change. Since YuGiOh MasterDuel was released I instantly fell back in love with the cardgame I grew up with 😍 At first it was hard to catch up with the fastpaced playstyle nowadays, but its still a blast - no better way to pay Tribute than recreating the bossmonster of the deck I’m currently using ✌
The modelling was a very good practice for situations, where the references aren’t necesserily angled perfectly. This way, you definitely have to look at your model from all different angles all the time. But the project definitely deepened my love for creating Anime-Like / NPR Models iand give them my own touch.

Hi everyone, this is my fanart of Hoshino Ai from Oshi no ko. I made this model to celebrate the anime’s premieres on 12th April 2023.
Something about Ai attracts me, maybe she’s very cheerful, that’s why. Ai is a 16 years old idol and I shall not spoil the story by revealing too much. You guys just have to read the manga or watch the anime to find out.
Hope you guys like this fanart as much as I do. I want to stand outside my comfort zone by modelling the environment together with the character. This helps the audiences to know what the character is doing. I mean, this fanart works, I will try to expand my comfort zone further by modelling more environmental stuffs in the future.
