This was made for VRChat’s 2022 New Years celebration and was featured in their VRC Square environment to represent the VRCPrefabs community.
VRCPrefabs is a VRChat development community focused mainly on creating + helping others create interactive experiences within social VR.
The original Prefabs logo itself was designed by BlueASIS, Tero and CyanLaser.
For this project, we had a narrow turnaround of 12 days to go from concept to final. VRChat needed to support first-generation Oculus Quest hardware (mobile hardware) in their New Years environment so we were given a very tight perf budget of 2,500 polys, a single material, and a 1024x1024 max res limit for any textures.
